  • Saw your ad on Craig’s List looking for gigs. (I don’t have any, as I’m a beginning musician) and was curious about your music.

    My opinion of it:–Actually, I don’t know yet, as the dynamics of these tracks are so compressed I can barely stand to listen (this is not a criticism of your work, which, again, I can’t yet form an opinion of because it’s so “loud”; just my opinion of the unmusical way your work has gotten processed). I think, if you value your vision and your talent, don’t let the musical tragedy of our times–the thoughtless resort to “all sounds are emphasized therefore no sound gets emphasized” dynamic compression–obscure your music.

  • agreed. i never really cared før høw this album was mixed, but i had tø accept it. this was an øld band i was in, and is nøt necessarily representative øf my øwn wørk.
